Ollen Douglass is the Managing Director for Motley Fool Ventures which launched in the second half of 2018, Motley Fool Ventures will be a venture fund focused on inspiring entrepreneurs leading high quality early stage private companies.
Ollen Douglass is the Managing Director for Motley Fool Ventures which launched in the second half of 2018, Motley Fool Ventures will be a venture fund focused on inspiring entrepreneurs leading high quality early stage private companies.
Prior to becoming the Managing Director, Ollen was CFO of The Motley Fool for 14 years.
In addition to his finance duties, Ollen co-developed and managed a corporate venture capital program, Motley Venture Partners. He serves on the board of portfolio companies Eyrus and InHerSight, and on the board of the nonprofit Young Artists of America. Prior to joining The Fool, he worked in Mortgage Banking, and was an auditor for KPMG.
His alma mater is University of Baltimore BA in Accounting
