With over 20 unicorns and a resilient community of entrepreneurs, Latin America has become home to some of the fastest-growing startups in the world, driving innovation across fintech, edtech, mobility, and other sectors. In conversation with Patrick Alex, Endeavor's Head of Access to Capital for Chile, we explore the region's unique innovation ecosystem and its global relevance.

Patrick Alex is Head of Access to Capital in Chile at Endeavor, a global non-profit supporting high-impact entrepreneurs. As such, he is entrusted with supporting Endeavor Entrepreneurs on their fundraising journey, ecosystem initiatives such as spearheading the Endeavor Investor Network in Chile, and local capital raising efforts for Endeavor’s own fund Endeavor Catalyst. Furthermore, he is in charge of the Fintech and Foodtech portfolios.

Prior to Endeavor, Patrick worked as Investment Analyst at early-stage VC fund Mountain Nazca, investing in emerging tech businesses in Latin America and part-time as a docent at the MBA program at Universidad Catolica organizing student trips to Silicon Valley and Israel. A German native, he completed fellowships at Mountain Partners in Switzerland, PA Consulting in Germany, and Lufthansa in New Zealand while finishing his business education in the UK and in Germany.
