Waqas Khalil has over 10 years of industry experience, having worked for fortune 500 organisations such as Schlumberger, SMEs such as Abevco, valley startups such as PLUMgrid and educational institutions such as University of Derby. He currently works for Xgrid in the capacity of Director MarCom and Design and is also a co-founder of Lets Innovate. At his current role, his core focus is on user first design, delivering disruptive UI and branding solutions to global clients spread across Europe, Silicon Valley and Pakistan. Waqas graduated as an Electronics Engineer and went on to complete his MBA (Project Management) at University of Derby. He is an avid gamer, a Real Madrid follower and enjoys running and hiking.
Rafay Zafar is a full stack more-towards-the-backend engineer by profession and passion, Rafay has had the unique experience of working on different aspects of a software / product development cycle.Currently a Technical Lead at Xgrid, Rafay is a strong believer in teaching and training young minds. His own professional learning experience summarizes in his personal mantra "Bring the passion and the potential, learning the skill is easy." From technical documentation to application testing to software development/deployment, he has dabbled in all areas and excelled in most of them. He is a skilled programmer who thrives in chaotic and high pressure environments.
