Fantuan Delivery was founded in Vancouver, Canada in 2014 and it is a one stop service platform provides food delivery, self-pickup, ratings and reviews, online mart and advertising and marketing services. With more than 200,000 registered users and over 1800 business partners, Fantuan Delivery has become the largest Chinese delivery platform in Canada. Until now, the company’s delivery service has covered Vancouver, Toronto, Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary and Montreal. In 2019, Fantuan will enter more cities in Canada and also the USA. The first destination in the USA is Seattle.

With a mission of “life can be easier,” the company aims at establishing a multi-functional platform by providing more services to satisfy customer needs. The service will cover the whole process from demand to supply in people’s daily life. Fantuan Reviews was launched recently and it is a restaurant search and review platform targeting local Chinese people. Users can search and find reviews of over 8000 local restaurants. Meanwhile, Fantuan also plans to expand their customer base, such as introducing the services to tourists and English speakers.

About Randy Wu

Randy Wu founded Fantuan Delivery in 2014, when he was about to graduate from Simon Fraser University. Wu was not the first player to enter the food delivery market. At that time, there were already several other food delivery companies competing in the market, but Wu managed to lead the team to survive and to grow rapidly. Later he met his partner Yaofei Feng, an Amazon engineer. Under their leadership, Fantuan become the largest Chinese food delivery company in Canada.

Wu was born in China in 1989. He came to Canada as a high school student and then he was admitted to Simon Fraser University and studied economics. His entrepreneur life began at an early age. He has been either working part time or starting his own business while he was still in school. As the founder and CEO of Fantuan, Wu brings several years of experience in logistic and leadership to his role in the company. He is a born entrepreneur and has valuable insight in management. In 2018, he successfully raised $5 million funding.
