Qatar Investment Authority with its Fund Of Fund program has changed Qatar's startup ecosystem. Through this initiative six VCs have already set up office in Qatar. How does this impact the local ecosystem ?
The $1-billion fund of funds program from Qatar Investment Authority, which invests in both international and regional VC funds is designed to bolster investments in startups as Qatar looks to exponentially grow the local startup ecosystem.
As part of this new initiative QIA has accepted its first group of venture capital funds that are opening offices in Qatar. The objective of this event is to really get to know these funds, their plans and strategies for Qatar and the region. How can startups and stakeholders in Qatar leverage through this. Lets figure out all the answers at the Startup Grind event that will be held on the 16th April.
