Derrick Ndzavi, as affectionately known, is the CEO of New DiscoveryBS, an Enterprise Development Company based in Johannesburg. He is an accredited Business Advisor with Institute of Business Advisors SA which is SAQA regulated. A SETA trained Facilitator and Assessor.

He has mentorship/advisory experience of 18 years, the last company he worked for was Discovery Health which inspired him to start New DiscoveryBS. He worked with small businesses and various organisations in development, planning and strategies aimed at advancing entrepreneurship.

Derrick studied Business Management and worked for various companies and the last one was DiscoveryHealth where he was inspired by the business savvy of Adrian Gore and resigned from the company to start his consulting firm with aim of helping Small Businesses.

He has worked with GEP and other government departments offering Mentorship, advices and strategy, he also mentors and advices individuals who want to start businesses and those already in businesses locally and internationally. He is regularly featured on TV and Radio talking about Entrepreneurship and Enterprise development. He is often booked to speak at seminars and Institutions of learning addressing students on Entrepreneurship. He does facilitate events and featured in panel discussions. He is an adjudicator/judge for Entrepreneurs Pitching sessions helping organisations make decision on the prize winners. He is also the Author of Two Books: BUSINESS TIPS TO MY DAUGHTER and BUSINESS TIPS TO MY SON, he writes Business Articles regularly.

Through social media platforms is able to reach to over 200 Thousands followers talking entrepreneurship. He serves as a board member on various companies and organisations, such as Africa Ride, Makhuva Economic Development and Greater Tembisa Chamber of Commerce to name few. He is committee member of the Institute of Business Advisors South Africa
