Sila Chy (Thmor) is the CEO and founder of Sabay Digital Group, Cambodia’s leading online digital entertainment company with a portfolio of news, lifestyle, gaming, movies, mobile apps, and event properties.

Sila Chy was born in Cambodia in 1974. While he originally planned to be a lawyer or architect, Sila dropped out of college at the age of 18 to pursue a career as a private entrepreneur. Initially working as a tour guide, Sila's first successful business ventures centered around pirated CDs. His company expanded through the late 1990s and early 2000s, at which point Sila chose to shift focus from pirated electronics to fast food. In 2001 Sila founded BB World, a burger-focused fast food restaurant chain. He also founded a chain of coffee cafe under the name T&C Coffee in 2003. In 2007, Sila began investing in the the-then growing web industry in Cambodia and founded a media company, Sabay.

Sabay’s properties spread the gamut of the infotainment industry in Cambodia, also the General Director of Yinkok Food Corp, Cambodia’s first and largest homegrown chain of QSR restaurants operating international franchises for Domino’s Pizza, Lotteria, Tous les Jours , Asian Kitchen and homegrown T&C brands.

He is also on the board of Sabay MVP film distributor and Major Platinum Cineplex cinema chains. Sila Chy is also the founding president of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Cambodia and he is on the National Board of Directors for AIESEC in Cambodia.
