Doug is a serial entrepreneur and growth executive in the marijuana and tech sectors. He currently serves as President & COO for Weedmaps.com, a company he co-founded in 2008, where grew the company to to a $150M valuation. Doug also serves as President for Weedmaps' parent company, Ghost Group, who owns and operates some of the largest brands in the marijuana industry. Ghost Group also runs an incubator “Ghost Labs" out of their Irvine HQ where its first round of companies are currently in development. In 2007, Doug founded Canna-Centers, the most recognized physicians group focused on cannabis and lead by Dr. Goldstein.

Doug’s main interest is fostering the legalization of marijuana, where is active in policy. He serves on the board of the Prometheus Institute, a think tank around technology and freedom, where they endeavor to legalize cannabis worldwide.  Doug attended Chapman University where he received a BS in Business in 2001. He currently lives in Ladera Ranch with his wife Rebecca and 4 kids, where together they are active in community and philanthropic efforts.
