Cory is a founding member of Cryptozoic, Prior to that, Cory was Director of Global Licensing and Business Development for Blizzard Entertainment, the leader in PC gaming and subscription based Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games. He oversaw the development of Blizzard's plan for growth in product merchandise based on its premier video game brands (Starcraft, World of Warcraft, and Diablo) while maintaining the company's very high standards of quality. Cory's approach to product development focused on realizing creative visions within commercial boundaries and drove a wildly successful global licensing program with ground breaking and in some cases award winning products. He was Director of Product Development for The Upper Deck Company, a global leader in Trading Card Games and Trading Cards. There, he conceived the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game which had the strongest launch of any product in its category of all time. Cory has 20 years of experience in video game marketing and product development and he has had senior roles with a number of companies including Virgin Interactive, Midway, and Crave. Most recently Cory is the creator and driving force behind Hex, the first real MMO/TCG (Massively Multiplayer Online/Tactical Combat Gaming) card game. Hex has the distinction of being the fifth most successful gaming Kickstarter of all time, and is currently in development with a Beta target date of Q1 2014.
