The company enables vendors to order supplies like bananas using its platform. It supplies potatoes, tomatoes, and more. The company was founded in 2014 and is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
In July 2017, Twiga Foods closed its Series A round of Funding, of $10.3 Million in debt and equity. Most of the funding raised will go into the organization’s goal of expanding across Nairobi and diversifying products.
