With the adoption of electronic records, healthcare has been digitized. However, the data is too difficult to access. Health systems have trouble sharing with each other, and vendors have trouble accessing it for their software applications. Redox was started to eradicate these technical barriers and usher forth the future of technology-enabled healthcare.
Let's talk to Luke Bonney, Co-Founder & CEO of Redox Engine. Luke Bonney and Niko Skievaski founded Redox in 2014. Seven engineers from Madison, Wisconsin, all of them former employees of healthcare EHR giant Epic Systems, landed $3.5 million for their software company Redox. It was their first round of venture funding.
