Startup Grind Milano is inviting you to an event with Marco Magnocavallo that is the Founder and CEO of one of the hottest Italian Startup: Tannico.

Tannico just received €4 Million in a Series A funding round. 

Marco started at nineteen with a retail business in the classic cars market.
At the age of twenty-three, he founded a web agency where he and his team developed projects for the Italian Postal Service, McKinsey, Daimler and other European companies. He then sold his company to a pre-IPO company and founded an online vertical publishing business (Blogo) that became, within four years, the third most visited news site in Italy with more than 12 million monthly unique users, and activities in Italy, the UK, France, Spain and Brazil. He then sold this company to the DADA/RCS Media Group.

In 2012/2013 he acted as Venture Partner in an italian Venture Capital Firm (Principia). In 2012 he founded Boox, a startup accelerator, and Tannico, the leading Italian wine shop.

Tannico has sold over 250,000 bottles to 40,000 customers and it has already achieved an impressive 50% return customer rate. Its now expanding to foreign markets starting with the UK, France and Switzerland.
