Brian is the Founder & Managing Director of CrossCut Ventures, the company-building capital of LA & a catalyst for innovation across the SoCal Tech ecosystem. CrossCut has a $75M fund to invest in early-stage startups. Brian is the co-founder of StyleSaint, a CrossCut portfolio company. Previously, Brian was partner at Palomar Ventures, and prior to Palomar Brian drove turn-around at Quepasa.com.

With 18 years of experience in early-stage technology and strategy, Brian has worked closely with many successful Silicon Valley companies including CommerceOne, Aurum, Broadbase, Inktomi, and Niku. Joining Palomar Ventures in 2001, he spearheaded nine investments and was soon promoted to Partner. Brian drove turn-around at Quepasa.com as EVP of Strategy and Monetization, leading to a 9x increase in market capitalization. In late 2011, he co-founded CrossCut portfolio company StyleSaint. Brian's alma mater is Stanford University, where he received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering, as well as his MBA.
