Austin is co-founder Limerick company AMCS Group. Like his co-founder, Jimmy Martin, Austin is both an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist and a graduate of the University of Limerick. AMCS are a leading provider of software and vehicle technology solutions to the recycling and waste management industry. Their software manages more than €3 billion in invoicing revenue for their customers on a yearly basis. The company is headquartered in Limerick has grown from a technology start-up 13 years ago to an international company employing 300 employees globally, with offices in the USA, UK, Denmark, France, Sweden, the Netherlands and Australia. AMCS have already secured a number of funding rounds. The latest round, 6 months ago was for €45m. This came from New York-based VC firm Insight Partners and the ireland Strategic Investment Fund.
