In less than 6 years Tom has taken Reliable Aftermarket Parts from a home-based business to a quickly growing company employing over 40 people with a listed inventory of over 150,000 parts. Tom started his career working on farms in the St Johns area while still in high school.  In 1983 he started working for Central Michigan Tractor Parts.  During his thirteen years with CMTP, he worked his way up from basic laborer to Assistant Manager.  Tom started and grew the construction parts wholesale division for the company giving him valuable experience in sales, customer service, purchasing, order processing and other critical business operations.  In 1996 while working the second shift at Federal Mogul, Tom used the industry contacts he had developed over the years and started Junior’s Parts in St. Johns. Tom realized electronic distribution would eventually replace the local tractor parts store.  The internet gives more choices to customers than could be supported by the physical storefront.
