About this event

We are excited to announce our lineup of amazing women to lead our #SGWomen month celebration. This panel will be hosted by SG Lagos' co-director - Blessing Abeng.

Introducing our speakers:

  1. Oluwatosin Olaseinde
Tosin is a chartered accountant with 10 years of experience across accounting, corporate finance, auditing and taxation.

    In
2018, She founded Money Africa, a personal finance platform that teaches people to build healthy financial habits and generate multiple income streams.

Before devoting her work to Money Africa,  she worked with several multinationals — Bloomberg TV, CNBC Africa, BAT to name a few.
  2. Maryam Lawan Gwadebe
Maryam runs the only female owned hub In Northern Nigeria, Blue Sapphire Hub (Technology and Business Hub), under which several programmes, seminars, trainings, pre-incubation and mentorship are being carried to encourage people across the dimensions of social strata, age and gender stereotyping to engage ICT and entrepreneurship.
  3. Fatima Babakura
Fatima is a founder and creative director of Timabee, a luxury accessory brand which she created out of her passion for sketching designs. We love when we see young women charting a course for their lives early on.

Within 3 years of starting the business, Timabee has won a best fashion brand of the year award. She has also been listed among 22 women redefining luxury in Africa by the Lionesses of Africa group, and received the WEF “Iconic Woman” award in 2017.

Fatima’s passion for women and girls has inspired her to continue to grow Timabee, as well as start other businesses that would create job opportunities, especially in Africa. She is also the co- founder of Signature Boutique in Canada, a multi-brand boutique that aims to showcase the works of African based designers to the world.

This virtual event is scheduled for 3pm, 27th June 2020. Tickets are free and can be gotten by signing up here - https://www.startupgrind.com/j/vz8cvxn4tu852/
