As an entrepreneur you must possess both the knowledge and skill to raise funds that will sustain your startup until you have a healthy cash inflow.

In this workshop, you will learn what funding is about and when you should seek funding, startup strategies to raising funds for growth, how to position your startup for funding, the different funding options available to you, and where to seek funding. This workshop will also expose you to why many startups don’t get funded and how to avoid these drawbacks to funding.

About the Speaker

Pius Oluwatosin Reis is a lawyer, a social entrepreneur, a business developer and a programmer.

He is the founder of Black Innovations Africa (BIA) a business incubation Hub and IT Company that empowers People Businesses and Organization’s leverage technology to become more…become better.

Through his work at BIA, Pius has worked with over a hundred young people build a career in tech by becoming software developers. Pius is also passionate about entrepreneurship, with his team at Black Innovations Africa he has worked with over 300 young entrepreneurs start, sustain and scale their businesses. His career path has seen him design unique programs that has empowered young people become self-sustaining and self-reliant.

He is an Independent Consultant with Udacity an American for-profit educational organization where he serves as a mentor to students who are on their journey to acquiring skills for jobs of the future as Front End Web Developers.

He is passionate about helping young people discover themselves and building their capacity to make it happen.
