Rapeleng Rabana was recently honored by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader for 2017 and featured on the cover of the Forbes magazine before the age of 30. Rabana is an exceptionally profound and internationally acclaimed entrepreneur.

Rapelang Rabana is an entrepreneur renowned for her excellent leadership skills in the fast-paced and escalating technology industry. At present Rapaleng’s prime business focus is Rekindle learning which is a highly inventive learning technology organization and Nisela Capital which is a pioneering private equity and advisory firm.

Rapeleng’s journey began when she became the founding CEO of Yeigo, which is an innovative startup company that helped develop some of the world’s earliest mobile VoIP applications in the year 2006.

Her far reached knowledge has allowed for her to stretch herself by practicing and serving excellence in all of her endeavors. She is a Board Member of Meniko Records Management Services which she became a President of in January 2016, a Member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council for Software and Society since October 2014, she is the Curator and Member of Global Shapers Community based in Cape Town since the year 2013. She was also the Board Member of Generation Ubuntu in the years 2011-2006 not forgetting her position held as the Global Head of Research and Development for Telfree which she headed from 2009-2012.

As an internationally lauded speaker, Rapelang has shared the stage with the likes of the President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, and Professor Mohammed Yunus of Grameen Bank.
