SG Banglore Chapter is hosting a fireside chat with Mr. Sunil Nair, an Angel Investor on 05th November 2020 at 5:00 PM IST for his experiences as an investor.
Mr. Sunil Nair is an investor from Singapore who has done his MBA from the Nanyang Technological University.
With 30 odd years in the maritime sector, starting off in the Indian Navy, to being the Head of Operations at one of the world's largest shipping companies, his experience lies mainly in corporate governance and financial management.
However, because of his passion for startups and the sheer idea of building a brand he keeps investing in the startup space. He has made several investments in various different startups, mainly in the tech sector. He also has curated his own startups in Bangalore and mentors some young entrepreneurs in the ecosystem.
In the session, we will be discussing his experiences of investing in startups. Also, we will be discussing some of his failures as an investor and key takeaways. We will also cover pointers for startups to keep in mind while approaching an investor and raising funds.
In the end, You will get a chance to ask your questions as well and one lucky startup will get a chance to present their elevator pitch live to Mr. Sunil.
