Michael and Pierre founders of GoOut México (www.goout.mx) a curated marketplace for unique experiences. Europeans bringing new ideas to Guadalajara, Both with very particular mindset and succeeding into applying their way of thinking and doing business with Mexican market and providers.
The Founders
Pierre Verstraete (22) is from Lille, France and graduated from ESSEC Business School in Paris with a B.Sc. in Business Administration. He is a passionate runner and a creative mind that loves to travel the world and get inspired to write, read, and play music. Before founding GoOut México, Pierre collected work experience in Sales, Strategy and Operations at the concierge start-up Happytal founded by McKinsey consultant, the sports retailer Decathlon and in social organizations.
Michael Aring (22) comes from Bonn, Germany and graduated with a B.Sc. in International Business and Finance from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Michael loves to explore cities and to read and discuss about politics, economics and the big trends that are changing the world. Previously to founding GoOut, Michael worked in B2B Sales at the e-commerce startup SwingBy and in Human Capital Consulting at Ernst & Young.
The Business
GoOut México (www.goout.mx) is a curated marketplace for unique experiences. We are a mediator between providers of incredible activities and young people that look to enjoy adventures and to explore their country in a professional and secure environment. Our current selection of experiences features extreme sports and expeditions into the nature. In the coming months, we are going to extend the choice with cultural activities and experiences in Wellness and Eating & Drinking. GoOut México was founded in August, 2015 and has been a success story since: Starting out with two people and only one experience, we have grown to an 8-people organization and marketplace of around 15 experiences. Our vision is to become the number one website to book experiences in Mexico.
