I'll need a US VISA, can you help me get one?

Yes, we can provide you with a letter of support which you'll need to include with your Visa application. Please follow the instructions below on how to get a Visa Letter:

1. Please go to our Templates Repository here, scroll down to the Agreements & MOUs section, then click the Download button in the VISA Letter Template row
2. Click Make a copy and complete the relevant information in the newly created Google Doc
3. Please share the document with ford@startupgrind.com (ensuring the Editor access is selected and HQ will process the document for signing

This VISA template has been used multiple times before and is usually sufficient in getting a VISA. Please note though, they are no guarantees, so we strongly recommend applying sooner rather than later as VISA processing times at the USA Consulates and Embassies can take time.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have registered for a ticket (including the accommodation) option before the VISA letter can be prepared. If your VISA is declined your accommodation costs will be refunded, provided we have been notified before the 1st March 2025.

What day should I arrive?

If possible, we strongly recommend booking a flight that arrives in San Francisco no later than 02:00 PM on Monday, 28 April 2025. The immigration and passport queues can be long.

What should I pack?

Attire is casual, dress comfortably. Bring a light jacket and an umbrella if you have one. The average temperatures in this area are High 21C/70F, Low 8C/40F during April. We strongly recommend bringing your own toiletries.

Do you provide accommodation?

We have subsidized accommodation at Draper University and Kasa Hotel, so you can choose your preferred option or secure your spot with your own accommodation. Just keep in mind that we have limited rooms at both locations, so be sure to grab your spot as soon as possible.

Can Co-Directors Join?

Yes! The Directors Summit is open to both Chapter Directors & their Co-Directors.
