Peter founded the startup law firm Ramparts in 2012, following his move to Gibraltar from London to work within the gaming industry. His vision was to found a law firm that provided niche and specialist expertise to clients in the Finance and Gaming sectors. With his extensive experience in online gaming and e-money, Peter saw the law firm as an opportunity to focus on emerging areas of legal and regulatory work within an increasingly tech driven jurisdiction. Managing Director/Partner he is specialised in finance & technology (TMT, gaming, e-money & payments, blockchain and cryptocurrency, commercial law and cross-border regulatory advice)

In November 2018, Fiona Young, a local employment lawyer and mediator who specialises in facilitating positive working relationships, joined the team to assist with developing dynamic and positive working practices within Ramparts and for Ramparts clients. Fiona specialises in both contentious and non-contentious employment law. She represents employers and employees in the Gibraltar Employment Tribunal and is one of the appointed Mediators. Fiona is qualified in Gibraltar, as well as England & Wales, and has over 18 years’ experience of commercial litigation in both jurisdictions. She is recognised in Gibraltar as a skilled negotiator and settlement advisor.
