On Wednesday the 19th ofApril, Startup Grind by Google for Entrepreneurs returns with two very special speakers. Murray Clark and Devon Scoulelis, Co-founders of Big Box Co- a Durban company that has launched a revolutionising way of developing shopping centres in small communities.
Big Box Co. is a company comprised of progressive property developers and intrepid entrepreneurs who blend big ideas with expertise to create Big Boxes. A Big Box is made with bricks, mortar and retrofitted shipping containers, each box is designed to create an immersive shopping experience for it’s surrounding community. The boxes are placed in high traffic commuter areas, supported by the presence of national brands who help ensure a steady flow of shoppers.
Murray Clark is currently the CEO of Proproyale Developments as well as being the co-founder of Big Box Co and Vanguard Capital Holdings
Devon Scoulelis is the CEO and founder of Chicken Xpress and the managing director of Tiger Blue Investments; Harvest Capital. Devon previously owned Taco Zulu, Kauai on Florida Road and was also the regional manager of Vida e Caffe for four years
