Nathan Hughes is Co-Founder and team member #1 at Detroit Labs, the best little mobile dev shop in Michigan. At Detroit Labs he oversees team operations, hiring, and delivery, making sure the company DL ends up as is the company DL wants. Prior to Detroit Labs, Nathan has served in technology leadership roles at Cengage, ePrize, i33 Detroit, and several other marketing and technology firms in Southeast Michigan. Active in the Detroit creative and tech community, Nathan is an expert in team dynamics, creative problem solving, software delivery, and irreverent organizational behavior. He is co-boss of Nerd Nite 313, a monthly nerdy presentation and drinking meet up, and sometimes talks at Grand Circus about technology and software development. Nathan graduated from the University of Michigan Dearborn with a History, Political Science, and Computer Science degree and graduated from the Go Comedy Improv Theatre with an associates in make-em-up and tomfoolery.
