Rahul co-founded Winkl in June 2018 along with Nikhil Kumar, intending to make the influencer marketing industry, transparent, data-driven, and scalable for marketers. The main problem they noticed was that even in 2017-2018, influencer marketing was still being conducted in a highly manual fashion.
Over the last 3 years, Rahul along with Nikhil has steered Winkl into one of the leading technology-based solutions for influencers marketing in India, with a network of more than 35,000 influencers available on-demand, with a roster of some of the top brands in India like Flipkart, Bombay Shaving Company, Dabur, etc., as their customers.
Winkl raised $120k in angel funding in 2019 from prominent angel investors in India, after which they promptly turned Winkl into a profitable entity when the pandemic hit in April 2020.
