She is truly the Kat-of-all-trades who drives the strategy and growth of many of her clients. She is part business strategist, part marketing maven, and part spiritual butt-kicker, with a little side of Southern swagger. Kat has consulted with hundreds of organization over the course of her career in a myriad of industries and has specialized expertise in marketing, finance, customer and product development, process management, leadership coaching, and women empowerment. Whatever the issue, you can always count on Kat to bring big ideas and big directives to the table. RedKatalyst has helped businesses conquer their challenges and optimize operations, launch new products and services, prepare to raise capital and uncover new value. Previously, she was part of the senior leadership team at Obtiva, one of the hottest independent software development shops in the country when it was acquired by Groupon in 2011. She began her career while still in college, working as an auditor and eventually expanding beyond finance and accounting into the corporate world of business operations and technology. She’s a frequent speaker at industry events like the Web 2.0 conference in New York and TechWeek in Chicago, Colorado Technology Association in Denver, and is called up to speak on topics throughout the world on , “How to find your Superhero Niche”, to “How to Develop Your Customer”, to “How to Get Unstuck in a World of Checklists”. A Southern girl by birth, a big-city girl at heart, Kat has a passion for family, friends, the latest tech gadgets, and a really great bottle of red wine. You’ll find her out and about at business events in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, Austin and New York where she loves to meet new people, mentor, speak, support start-up initiatives, and help people stay agile in work and in life. Regardless of how or where you encounter Kat, her goal remains the same: to add more value to your world than you ever dreamed possible, by giving you tools you can start using now to improve your business and your life.
