Hans-Peter Gier (aka HP) is a hands-on serial FinTech entrepreneur and banking systems expert who, since his studies in Switzerland, focussed on the strategic use of information technology in the financial service industry.
Hans-Peter Gier (aka HP) is a hands-on serial FinTech entrepreneur and banking systems expert who, since his studies in Switzerland, focussed on the strategic use of information technology in the financial service industry.
He worked as head of strategic IT planning and on several innovative IT projects in trading and asset management for some of the top European cantonal banks, i.e., UBS, Swiss Bank Corporation, Credit Suisse, Swiss Life, to name a few.
After having sold his first professional service company in 2010 (banking concepts), he worked on product management systems, dug into natural language processing technologies for financial research (Search Concepts) and latest blockchain technology.
