We are delighted to present our next guest and awesome speaker from Barcelona, Àlex Rodríguez Bacardi. After having worked at Deloitte, VASS and volunteered at ESN, he transitioned from being a software developer to a business developer. Fluent in five languages and interested in science of language & learning. He went on and founded MarsBased, a high-end development consultancy from Barcelona specialised in web and mobile applications developed with Ruby on Rails, Angular and the latest Javascript frameworks. Responsible for the business growth, Alex has managed to sign 6-digit contracts eight months after the creation of the company. The company portfolio consists of international clients from different continents, hailing from USA, Germany, France, UK, Singapore, Finland and many more.

When Alex is not busy growing MarsBased, he is busy growing the Startup Grind brand in Southwestern Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Malta, Andorra, Gibraltar) as Regional Director.
