At the second Startup Grind event in July we invited a very experienced technology advisor, Madeline Duva. She has been a Strategic Advisor of Sleep Performance, Inc. since June 29, 2016, the Advisor of 3jam Inc, Nexage and Splashtop. Madeline also served as a Vice President of Business Development and Silicon and ODM partners of PalmSource, the Chief Executive Officer of the China MobileSoft Limited. Duva has over 20 years experience (18 years in Silicon Valley) as a Software Entrepreneur and Executive. She is instrumental in developing and executing strategic initiatives for early stage companies throughout her career. After several years at Fidelity, she moved to Silicon Valley where she held senior managerial posts at Communication Intelligence Corp., PenOp, Dejima, PenOp and CIC. She was the Chairman and Director of PlantSense, Inc. Now she serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Eye-Fi, Inc. and Contec Innovations Inc., ad a Director at numerous companies like Drop, Fluxx, mPerpetuo, Parrot and The Founder Institute. Madeline Duva received her BA in Latin American Studies and MA with honors in LAS/Economics from Vanderbilt University.
