Desiree Vargas Wrigley is the CEO and Co-Founder of GiveForward.com, the world’s only crowdfunding website dedicated to fundraising for medical expenses.  Since launching in 2008, GiveForward has helped families raise more than $100MM for things like travel to treatment, deductibles and co-pays, and everything insurance doesn’t cover.  Desiree has been recognized as one of Inc Magazine’s 30 Under 30, Crain’s 40 Under 40, and Forbes’s Women to Watch.

After graduating from Yale University, Desiree worked as a specialist in collegiate entrepreneurship at the Kauffman Foundation and later worked as an independent consultant for Arabella Philanthropic Investment Advisors. Desiree’s unwavering belief in the power that small-scale donors have on our communities motivated her to create GiveForward. Since she launched the site, more than 140 million people from around the world have used GiveForward to support a loved one in need.
