Lenore is a Fortune 500 exec turned startup founder. She founded The Torch, an online emergency information organizer that makes getting your affairs in order as easy as taking a survey. It was an NC Idea Fund finalist this year. Before leaving the corporate world, she was a technology executive for Bank of America, MTV Networks, Verizon and Accenture.
Lenore Vassil is the founder and CEO of The Torch, an online emergency information organizer that makes getting your affairs in order as easy as taking a survey. It was an NC Idea Fund finalist, a part of Rev Tech Labs, and has been featured on WCCB, WTVI PBS Charlotte, The Charlotte Business Journal and The Charlotte Observer among others.
Before leaving the corporate world, she was a technology executive for Bank of America, MTV Networks, Verizon and Accenture. She led high-performing global teams focused on improving client experience, increasing productivity, reducing cost, and minimizing risks.
Educated at the University of Richmond and Six Sigma certified, Lenore shares her knowledge and passion by speaking on topics of personal organization, emotional intelligence, women in technology and entrepreneurship
