Rob Salvatore is an entrepreneur, investor, and the owner of the Charleston Battery soccer team. Before acquiring the team in 2020, Rob co-founded and served as CEO of Tongal, a crowdsourced digital video network that connects creators with major brands like YouTube, Nat Geo, and MGM.
During his 10-year leadership at Tongal, the company achieved impressive growth, including a 300% increase in platform revenue in 2018. Rob stepped down as CEO in 2019 to pursue new ventures, including his investment in the Charleston Battery, where he has focused on revitalizing the team and fostering strong community ties.
