Hunter is one of those unique executives that combines the passion of an entrepreneur with the business acumen of an operator.

As the founder and president of SnapCap, Hunter pioneered an online marketplace that facilitated over $250 million in loans to small businesses before getting acquired by Lending Tree in 2017.

Hunter then founded Advisor.com in 2018, a platform designed to connect investors with fiduciary financial advisors.

Hunter’s entrepreneurial journey began after graduating from the College of Charleston in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business. His experiences as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch and his competitive spirit as a member of the U.S. Sailing Team shaped his dynamic leadership style into what it is today.
