Startup Grind Cape Town is excited to be hosting our Opening Event for the year with the incredible Philip Joubert titled "Building and Scaling a Tech Startup with Philip Joubert" on the 23rd of February 2023 at the Workshop17.
Philip is a Co-founder and CEO of OfferZen, a marketplace where software developers can find meaningful work that pays well. Philip previously Co-founded JourneyApps (raised funding in Silicon Valley) and Pondering Panda (exit). He also founded AppsAgainstEbola, a non-profit project which provided data gathering tech to NGOs in West Africa during the Ebola crisis.
Philip is also an Angel Investor and has invested in tech Startups such as Root and Apex Pollination. In 2022 he was named Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young African Entrepreneurs. He is passionate about leadership and all things startups.
