Hanan Soliman is a journalist that worked for more than 10 years in printed and electronic journalism field in Arabic and English-speaking. Working in Rose al-Yūsuf magazine was just the beginning of her journey, she also worked in the media training and research. She spent three years writing many articles about entrepreneurship for Wamda.com, besides her work as a freelance journalist with some other newspapers. In 2010, Hanan gave up working for the state media as she wanted to start her own business by releasing “Mandara Online“, a local media gate of Upper Egypt. It was launched in February 2013 by Almandara Press Institute. She participated in many conferences and international programs that support the media, entrepreneurship, leadership and women empowerment in America, France, England and many others. She got her BA degree in mass-com field from Cairo University, but she didn’t stop here. After achieving her Bachelor Degree, she studied entrepreneurial journalism in City University of New York. She was chosen by Arabian Business Magazine as one of the strongest 100 Arabian women for 2014 and 2015.
