CELLINK is the first bioink company in the world that focuses on the development and commercialization of bioprinting technologies that allow researchers to 3D print human organs and tissues for the development of pharmaceutical and cosmetic treatments. The company was started on the 27th of January, 2016 in Gothenburg, Sweden by Erik Gatenholm and Hector Martinez. The focus was to change the world of medicine by disrupting the entire medical research industry. On the 3rd of November (only 10 months after starting), CELLINK made an IPO on the NASDAQ stock exchange in Stockholm to raise funding.
