THE FUNDING DEN is an Investor Pitch Event organized by Startup Grind Bhubaneswar where selected/registered entrepreneurs and startups can present their products or startups in front of the investor panel.

The event is scheduled for 24th September 2023 from 10:00 am onwards.

The investor panel will consist of investors/angel investors who will be invited to the event, so they can invest, critique, and give their input about the product.

There is also going to be a panel discussion session before the start of the presentations with the investors, where they will be discussing the different entrepreneurial aspects and will also share what they are expecting from this event and the presentations of the participants.

The registered/selected startups will be early-stage or MVP-stage startups. They will be asked to attend the event in person and will be asked to present their ideas through a presentation or prototype model, on stage. They will be given approx. 8 minutes to present their ideas in front of the investor panel.

After the pitch/presentation, the investor panel would be asked to review their presentation and ask different questions about the product/idea. They can also express their opinions on the product/idea and make suggestions for improvement. Finally, all the investors will be asked to give their final verdict on whether they would like to invest in the startup or not.

Upon agreeing, there will be a handshake deal between the investor and the participant during the event. They can make further deals/negotiations/signing documents among themselves by scheduling a meeting, privately.

Along with participants, we will also have an audience for whom we have planned different kinds of activities and exercises to increase their engagement throughout the event.

These activities will consist of a startup treasure hunt, entrepreneurial quiz, and other fun exercises to promote the aura of entrepreneurship among our audience members as well. The winners of such activities and exercises will get goodies and gift hampers.

We have also planned a networking session exclusively for our guest investors, participants, and sponsors after the end of the event, where they can get connected and network with each other.
