Our guest, Gaurav Shrishrimal is an entrepreneur, keyboardist, and movie buff!
He is the co-founder of Kaagaz Scanner, the homegrown document scanner app, which not only got a special mention at AatmaNirbhar Bharat App Challenge but also raised seed funding of INR 4.2 Crs from Pravega Ventures.
Gaurav is a firm believer in the power of data and technology to simplify and smooth business operations. Quite early in his career, he has hustled to make a name for himself in the startup ecosystem of India.
Before taking the leap for Kaagaz, he founded Sorted AI, which works like a smart personal assistant and helps organise notifications, notes, reminders, classifying personal documents etc.
Prior to Sorted AI, he was building Tapp Me, where we were providing On-Demand Home Services in 3 Tier-II cities of India - Vizag, Jaipur & Patna. Additionally, we were a Pan India Renovations and Interiors Service Provider, working with clients like Ultratech, Livspace, etc.
He graduated from IIT Kanpur with a B Tech in Materials Science and Engineering. While in college he interned with Willis Towers Watson and Reliance Capital.
