Aug 23, 2018, 4:00 – 8:00 PM (UTC)
PwC Berlin, Kapelle-Ufer 4, Berlin, 10117
Aya Jaff is Co-Founder of CoDesign Factory. Since the national newspaper DIE ZEIT dubbed her as "Mrs Code" she's gained a lot of attention for her tech background. Because of her interest in technology, entrepreneurship & youth-empowerment she already spoke at conferences & talked about some projects she has worked on lately (Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, tradity, LEAP or hackstart).
This event is going to be a twofold special:
1. PART - Fundraising Workshop – how to successfully raise money for your startup?
Even the best startup ideas can fall short of their expectations because of a lack of funding.
This 30-minute workshop will provide you with necessary background information, hands-on instructions as well as a practical guide on how to prepare your first (or next) round of investment capital for your startup.
Understand what you need to pay attention to when raising money, which steps to take in which order and how to increase the chances of receiving funding. This workshop is about the different funding types and how you can identify the best option for your startup.
Join our Startup Grind fundraising workshop in collaboration with the PwC NextLevel programme.

2. PART - Fireside Chat with Aya Jaff
Since the national newspaper DIE ZEIT dubbed Aya Jaff as "Mrs Code" she's gained a lot of attention for her tech background. In our Fireside Chat we will shed some light on her other projects as well.
During her time as a coder Aya has worked for different startups and companies in Silicon Valley, Madrid and Hamburg and has gained a lot of insight in the startup and corporate world.
We'll talk about how tech helped her build the largest social stock market simulation game in Germany (Tradity), write a book, get her a job at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies and start up something completely new: CoDesign Factory.
