Matt James is Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy & Business Development @ Amadeus Asia Pacific.

Based in Bangkok, Matt's role is to look outside of Amadeus and identify companies in Asia Pacific that have cool technology and great solutions that Amadeus could look to collaborate with to enhance the travel experience.

Originally from the UK, Matt started his career in the travel industry in London before moving to work for an online travel agency in Australia.

He joined Amadeus Pacific in Sydney in 2005. In 2008 he moved to Bangkok and held a variety of roles before finding his home in the Corporate Strategy & Business Development team where he has been since 2010.

Matt loves technology and gadgets and hopes that one day someone will invent a real flux-capacitor. You can find him searching on Kickstarter for the latest cool invention or dreaming of owning his own vineyard.
