The Startup Grind Beijing Chapter has teamed up with 68 SG chapters across 32 countries for the SG Global Pitch Battle, happening from January 13-16, 2025. The Beijing Chapter's SG Battle Pitch will be hosted virtually on January 16. This is a rare opportunity to take your startup from being just another name to shining on the global stage, with the added chance to head to Silicon Valley next year and meet face-to-face with global partners, investors, and media. 曹巍 Wei Cao

2010年加入蓝驰创投，常驻北京。负责智能制造、机器人、创新消费电子等方向早期科技投资，曾主导投资了水滴公司（NYSE：WDH）、高仙机器人、智元机器人、银河通用、优艾智合、蓝芯科技、万勋科技、程天科技、VITURE、亮亮视野等早期项目。加入蓝驰创投前，曹巍曾任日本大和证券企业投资中国市场TMT方向投资总监、负责人，负责该基金在中国地区的本土化落地、新增投资及投后管理工作。此前，曹巍是华兴资本早期团队成员。

Wei Cao joined BlueRun Ventures in 2010 and is based in Beijing. He focuses on early-stage investments in intelligent manufacturing, robotics, and innovative consumer electronics. He has led investments in early-stage projects such as Waterdrop (NYSE: WDH), Gaussian Robotics, Zhiyuan Robotics, Galaxy General, Uibot, BlueCore Technology, Wanxun Technology, Chengtian Technology, VITURE, and LLVision.

Before joining BlueRun Ventures, Cao Wei served as the Director and Head of TMT investments for the China market at Daiwa Securities Group, where he was responsible for the fund’s localization, new investments, and post-investment management in China. Earlier in his career, Cao Wei was part of the early team at China Renaissance.

杨晏慈 Jolie Yang

真成投资ZHENCHENG CAPITAL，董事总经理 Managing Director

8年VC从业经验，曾就职于真格基金和百度投资并购部，目前在真成投资担任董事总经理，关注新一代信息技术和智能制造方向的AB轮投资。北京朝阳国际青年创投联盟CVCA理事，2023 Forbes Asia 30U30，2022 Forbes China 30U30。

Jolie Yang (Yanci Yang) is the managing director of Beijing-based venture firm Zhencheng Capital, which is founded by former Zhen Fund venture partner Li Jianwei (over 30). Yang, who focuses on areas such as consumption and smart hardware, has led investments in the now Nasdaq-listed computing and bitcoin miner Sai.tech, note-taking app Evernote and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) company Syrius. She has previously worked at Zhen Fund, consulting firm Roland Berger and the investment arm of Chinese search giant Baidu.

黄岩 Yan Huang

首都科技发展集团衡翼衍至基金HENGYI YANZHI FUND，管理合伙人 Managing Partner

2003-2009英国帝国理工生物工程博士，自2009年以来先后任职于中关村发展集团旗下中关村瞪羚基金和中关村协同创新基金，专注于硬科技领域的早期项目投资。2018年在伦敦联合创立了中英人工智能协会（China-Britain Artificial Intelligence Association, CBAIA）， 旨在促进中英在人工智能领域的合作，现任中国区负责人。2024年在新加坡设立风险投资公司PRIORI CAPITAL并担任CEO，面向全球开展早期科技投资。2024年与首都科技发展集团联合设立衡翼衍至基金并担任管理合伙人，投资国内外具有重大价值、技术尚处于应用探索阶段的科技转化项目。

From 2003 to 2009, Yan Huang earned a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Imperial College London. Since 2009, he has held roles at the ZGC Gazelle Fund and ZGC Collaborative Innovation Fund under the Zhongguancun Development Group, focusing on early-stage investments in the hard technology sector. In 2018, he co-founded the China-Britain Artificial Intelligence Association (CBAIA) in London, aimed at fostering AI collaboration between China and the UK, currently serving as the Head of China Operations. In 2024, he established PRIORI CAPITAL, a venture capital firm based in Singapore, serving as CEO and conducting early-stage tech investments globally. Also in 2024, he co-founded the Hengyi Yanzhi Fund with the Capital Science and Technology Development Group as a Managing Partner, focusing on transformative technology projects with significant value still in the early stages of application exploration, both domestically and internationally.

刘冬宇，未来光锥前沿科技基金副总裁，毕业于中国科学技术大学。未来光锥基金由科普平台“果壳”发起，依托硬核科技圈的长期资源积累，重点投资前沿科技驱动的早期项目，重点关注人工智能、先进制造、材料科学等广阔开口领域。

Liu Dongyu, Vice President of the Light Cone Fund, graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China. The Light Cone Fund was initiated by the popular science platform "Guokr" and leverages long-term resources accumulated within the hardcore tech community. The fund focuses on investing in early-stage projects driven by cutting-edge technologies, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, materials science, and other expansive fields.

Tech-driven startups with scalable business models and an MVP or live product. Revenue is preferred but not required.
