Prior to co-founding GoodDay, Dave ran finance, operations, and systems at Chubbies for eight years, ultimately as CFO. He successfully scaled them from less than $5M in sales to the merger and eventual IPO with Solo Brands (NYSE: DTC). He then led Chubbies as Brand President for a year, directing the evolution of the team, brand, and operations for their next decade.

While at Chubbies, Dave experienced first-hand the challenges inherent in managing returns as a DTC brand. To help solve this challenge, he partnered with Jonathan Poma and team to lead the creation of a returns management application integrated directly with Shopify in 2015. Later Dave co-founded Loop Returns with Jonathan, Kyle Hency, and others to commercialize that initial application.

Dave's earlier experience as a senior associate at PwC was focused on manufacturing and distribution clients; providing the foundation for his expertise in inventory accounting. His inventory experience began even earlier than that when he served as the Operations Manager for the LA Tennis Open, managing tournament inventory and negotiating supplier deals.

Dave lives in Austin, TX and enjoys running along the river as well as playing soccer. He has a deep interest in history and foreign affairs, which he maintains via memberships in organizations such as the World Affairs Council and BENS.org. Dave graduated from UCLA with Latin honors and his entrepreneurial drive stretches back to his first venture: Clean & Green Landscaping; founded with friends at the seasoned age of 10.
