This month, Startup Grind has partnered with Sprint Zero to bring you a Rapid Introduction to Opportunity Mapping. This is a fast, hands-on workshop, designed to equip you with everything you need to create your own Opportunity Map.

What is an Opportunity Map?

It’s a tool that helps teams and founders organise and visualise all of the opportunities and ideas floating around their business, and align them to business objectives. It’s a systematic, outcome-focussed framework for prioritising and validating ideas.

Whether you’re a new founder, a member of a start-up team, or someone who’s a founder-to-be, Opportunity Mapping is a fantastic tool for organising and prioritising your ideas, and communicating them to others.

What to expect:

In this 90 minute session, we’ll take you through the full process of creating an Opportunity Map, from gathering customer insights, to identifying opportunities, brainstorming new ideas, and validating them with lean experiments. You’ll be working in groups, and immediately applying everything we teach you, so by the end of the session you’ll be ready to create your own map.

What do I need to bring?

You don’t need to prepare anything for this session - just bring an open mind, a willingness to collaborate, and your post-it writing skills!
