Khaled Talhouni, the founding Managing Partner at Nuwa Capital, has established a $100 million fund aimed at catalyzing early-stage MENAPT ventures. His approach goes beyond mere funding; he provides a full-fledged support platform for startups, encompassing everything from initial funding to growth and venture debt products. 

As a seasoned investor, Khaled's portfolio boasts over 150 early-stage transactions, with a keen focus on regional market solutions and responsive entrepreneurship. With a solid foundation from Duke University and a track record of significant investments at Wamda Capital and twofour54, Khaled's hands-on experience shapes his role as a leading contributor to the venture capital dialogue and the advancement of technology in emerging markets.

The fireside chat will be moderated by Hala Zahran, Head of AB Xelerate at Arab Bank. 

Hala heads Arab Bank's corporate venture capital and strategic startup partnerships and acquisitions for Arab Bank.

Previously, a founding member of the first P2P lending FinTech in MENA, and with extensive experience in venture capital in MENA and investment banking, Hala works to bring startups and incumbents together to create unique opportunities that transform the future of finance across the region.

Hala is a global citizen and an economist by training, graduating United World College of the Adriatic (Duino, Italy), the American University in Cairo, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, all with the highest honors.
