For over 14 years, multi-award winning graphic designer, Christianne L. Smith has been Principal and Owner of Designsmith Studio; a multidisciplinary design firm that specializes in creative development, thoughtful design, and innovative digital & print marketing that entertains, informs, and educates. Major corporate clients include Lincoln Center NYC, Mobil Oil, Alvin Ailey Dance Company, ShowTime, Proctor's Theatre, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Informz. The company’s industry experience ranges from the technology, biotechnology, healthcare, performing arts, academia, and financial sectors to non-profit institutions and start-ups. Christianne has taught graphic design at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. She is a founder and board member for SaratogaArtsFest, as well as a member of the board of directors for Wellspring (formerly Domestic Violence Rape Crisis) and Saratoga Arts. For the past two years she has chaired the Gala of Hope for the American Cancer Society. Christianne is also an elected member on the Steering Committee for the Capital Region Creative Economy, as well as a committee member for Saratoga Bridges, Yaddo, and Saratoga Hospital.
