Hello Startup Grind SF! For those of you who don't know me, I was the original director of Startup Grind NYC. Former because I have just made Palo Alto my new home and I'll be working with Derek and the California crew to bring you more awesome guests and great interviews.
To kick off my Left Coast debut I'll be interviewing Sahil Lavingia, Founder of Gumroad, on June 27. You can get your tickets here.
If you don't already know, Gumroad is a micropayment company that allows you to sell the way you share. He was also the founding designer at Pinterest. He has raised over $8M in the last six months, and the kid (it's ok he calls himself that) is on fire.
I met Sahil for the first time a few months after I sent him a cold-tweet and asked him to meet up. He is amazingly grounded and just an all around awesome guy. I am thrilled to be able to dig into his story in front of the Startup Grind community.
