During his time with Mayfield Fund, Mike founded the Mayfield Fellows program at Stanford and Berkeley. The program is open to 12 top engineering and business students a year and promotes the development of entrepreneurial skills through coursework, networking, internships and hands on experience working with startups.
Now living in Park City, Utah, Mike continues to pick winners and invest in the local ecosystem having served or serving as investor or board member to such companies as Altiris (acquired by Symantec), Omniture (acquired by Adobe), Skullcandy, Alliance Health, Applabs, Experticity, Radiate, Orabrush,High West Distillery,Creminelli, Domain Surgical, Pinger, Needle.com and Zinch.
Mike clearly has a lot to share with the us grinders, from his time at Stanford earning a BS and MS in engineering and an MBA, to his vast experience in investing in Utah and California.
